I happened to take my daughter into Miller’s Ale House near Grandview, Ohio on Tuesday April 23, 2019. Great news, what I didn’t realize until after I ordered it that Tuesday is Kid’s Eat Free day at Miller’s Ale House, at least at the Olentangy River Road location. I checked the Miller’s Ale House website, and it doesn’t mention Kids Eat Free in the Kids Menu section, so it is possible that this is different at different locations (please comment or submit a review to us if it is the same at the other locations).
They appeared to have plenty of options for kids, including high chairs and slings. However, the padded seating in the booths also make a great place for a child.
Kids Menu

The kids menu came on a multi-paged coloring book, with crayons, which is always a good sign for little ones. The price of $4.99 included the kids entree (meal), a side dish, kids beverage, and a cup of ice cream for desert. There were 8 meal choices ranging from Grilled Chicken Breast or Fried Shrimp Platter, to Spaghetti & Meatballs. The sides had 5 available choices including Fries, Apples, Applesauce, Mashed Potatoes, or a Seasonal Vegetable. Note: they did not have apple juice as a drink option.
The Dining Environment For Children and Adults
Miller’s Ale House has a dining area, bar area, high top table area, and and outdoor dining & bar area. There are plenty of televisions for watching whatever game may be on, so it does have a sports bar feel. While the dining area is near the bar, the dining experience was still family friendly. Even on a busy or big event game day, the separate areas seem like they would provide a comfortable family friendly place for dining with children.
